Comic Book Binding

Comic boxes are ugly. Let's be clear. They have the tendency to grow until they're hunting in packs and you're forced to ally with your neighbours to take them down with spears and lawn tools.

A danger waiting to strike.

One of the sad realities of reading comics is what to do with them after. While tablets and e-readers have granted the audience the ability to not only get their books anywhere, anytime, they don't have to worry about them taking up space. No bags. No boards. However, as someone who endeavours to not spend his waking life in front of a monitor or screen more than he has to, there's another option to support your favorite series and keep them going as well as enjoy a non cluttered home.

Comic Book Binding can be an excellent alternative to cleaning up a collection, and while it's more expensive than waiting for a book and buying the trade (binding costing between 19-30$) it's a fine way to enjoy the serial nature of comics and not look like a person on an episode of Hoarders. Respectable and portable, there can also be some excitement in designing your own graphic covers.

Something to munch on.

Dispatched, the comic box serves no threat to the humble reader.

If you're looking for more information on this, head to this pretty damn comprehensive source. The most thrilling visual example of this process can be found at the good people of Single Bound Studios.
